Why CPR?
Cardiopulmonary Rescusitation: The act of creating artificial circulation via chest compressions with mouth to mouth ventilations,
on a lifeless person (no breathing/no pulse). When a person, of any age, has an injury or an illness, which eventualy
causes their heart to stop...THEY NEED CPR!!! It is the pushing on the chest (circulation) and blowing in the
mouth (oxygenation) which gives the body a chance of survival. All be it a small one, but still, a chance. CPR4u
will give you the knowledge and confidence to create that chance. You will learn simple techniques and effective rules to
follow during any emergency. You want to be a possitive influence to the victim...it might be someone in your family.
How do I get Certified?
We offer two classes, listed in the next colum. Pick the one, best
for you then contact Craig Hunter, CPR4u Training Coordinator at chunter@cpr4u.org You must attend the whole class and practice CPR a few times to complete the course.
